Fun things to do during the school holidays!
School holidays are more than just a break from school, they are a time for kids to recharge, explore, and engage in exciting activities. We have compiled a list of fun-filled activities that will, spark creativity, and provide opportunities for growth and learning to keep your children entertained and happy,
Arts and Crafts:
Unleash your child's creative side with arts and crafts projects. Set up a dedicated crafting area with their favourite art supplies. Kids can engage in activities such as drawing, painting, making collages, or creating handmade cards. Not only does this encourage the use of your child’s imagination, but it also helps nurture skills such as hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and many more.
Science Experiments:
Ignite your child’s curiosity by engaging in science experiments. A variety of simple experiments can be performed with every day, household items that can fascinate your child. You can build giant volcanoes, create sticky slime, conduct water experiments, or even grow plants from seeds. Science experiments offer hands-on learning experiences that are both educational and entertaining while assisting in developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Movie Marathon and Popcorn Party:
Organise a movie marathon day at home, complete with a popcorn party. Let every family member choose their favourite movie or introduce them to some of your favourite movies from your childhood. Create a cosy viewing area with blankets or even a pillow fort, and don't forget the popcorn! This activity provides the perfect relaxing and entertaining environment on even the rainiest of days.
