Features
Upper
Featuring a new upper design, the Gel-Netburner 18 uses a combination leather and mesh upper providing both breathability and the required support for side to side movements.
Outsole
Netball can cause a lot of stress to both the lower limb and shoes dues to the amount of side to side movement and toe drag involved. This shoe includes a pivot point as well as a herringbone designed AHAR outsole allowing for fast directional changes without compromising grip or durability. For added durability the outsole has been wrapped around the midsole which the toe cap has been stitched for extra reinforcement against toe drag
Midsole
Providing you with protection from shock forces in the foot and lower limb Asics use Gender Specific Gel cushioning in the heel and forefoot while Duomax on the medial side of the shoe combined with a Trusttic system provide you with midfoot stability. Naturally, the pressure load of netball is placed on the medial side of the foot therefore Asics use Soft Top Duomax to provide not only support for those that require it but enhanced comfort. Also adding to the comfort of this netball shoe is the addition of Plus3 technology, 3mm of extra midsole height at the heel helping to reduce strain on the Achilles tendon
